A Albany relay for life team is selling what the can to raise money for their team.

Saturday Flock a Gulls, held a yard sale on for several hours Whispering Pines to raise money for cancer research.

They are one of one of about 20 Relay Teams raising money for Relay for Life.

"Different people donated to us, we and our friends clean out our houses, and had businesses give us gifts. We've raised a little more than $3,000 at the yard sale or team as a whole has raised about $13,000," said Vicky Stephens, Flock Of Gulls Relay Team.

Flock of Gulls say they are in the lead as far as fundraising. The Relay for Life walk takes place later this month.
