The Albany Panthers has brought in a few familiar faces to help bolster its roster. The Panthers have inked former South Georgia Wildcat Tito Hannah. The 6-3, 265 pound Hanna had 3 sacks and 2 force fumbles in 2009 with the Wildcats. He also spent time in the NFL with the 49ers.
The Panthers have also added another familiar face, All-SIFL wide receiver Clinton Rafe. The former ASU Ram had 60 catches for 795 yards and 17 touchdowns for the Panthers last season, good enough for first team All-SIFL honors.
Both Rafe and Hannah will be in uniform at the Civic Center on Saturday at 7:30 when Albany hosts Columbus.
Head coach Lucious Davis said "That's our goal. We're trying to get better each week. We're trying to improve at every position that I can. I think we have a couple more pieces out there than I'm trying to get. I think once we get all these guys in here together, I think we'll have a much better team than last year."
