Albany State head coach Mike White says it was the first time since he has been head coach that the offense has dominated the defense in the spring game. 37-19 was the final as the coaches got a last look at the team this spring.
The defense held its own in the first half but two rushing touchdowns from Keith Christopher and Chris Hunter sealed the deal for offense in the 2nd half. ASU has lost most of its starters on defense and hope they can pull it together before the season begins this fall.
Mike White said "I have not scene the offense handle the defense like this ever. It was a great showing by them running the ball, big plays passing. I just hope we can hold some for the fall."
