Looking for some plans for the family for the weekend? Sunday is family day at the drag strip. You'll have the chance to see dragsters like this that are super loud and crazy fast.
One care we saw shot to 104 miles per hour in just over six seconds.
Owner Tim Pafford says time at the track is no longer just appealing to the men, but to the whole family.
He said, "If we bring the wife out and she's got opportunity to see her kids driving one of our go-carts or inside playing one of our video games or our air hockey game or our pool table,s, then we've created a family atmosphere. We've created it at an affordable price. It's gotta be fun, it's gotta be affordable and those two things we've been able to accomplish with the event this Sunday afternoon."
Admission for people 15 and under is free. Everyone else pays $10 to get in. Gates open at 1PM, races take place between two and six.
