AMERICUS, GA (WALB) - Georgia Southwestern has made the national Division II polls for a second straight year.
The Hurricanes are ranked 30th in the latest Collegiate Baseball Magazine coaches poll.
Georgia Southwestern makes the coaches poll after winning four of their last five games.
GSW is one of six Peach Belt teams ranked among the top 30 DII teams in the nation.
Hurricanes Michael Coffey is ninth in the conference in hitting and former Lee County Trojan Gray Carden leads the conference in appearances.
Georgia Southwestern hosts 5th ranked Georgia College in a three game series starting Friday.
