But Atlanta Braves fans will get an early look at this year's team when the Braves close out their exhibition season at Turner Field Tuesday and Wednesday against the Minnesota Twins.
The home opener isn't officially until next Friday.
One new bat in the lineup will be first baseman Freddie Freeman.
The Braves believe their former second round pick can make it the big leagues just like Freeman's good friend Jason Heyward did last season.
Freeman hit over .300 at AAA Gwinnett before being called up to the big league team last September.
Freeman says that one month with Atlanta has helped prepare him for his first full season in the majors.
Freddie Freeman said. "It definitely helped a lot. The outside things as in the media, hotel accommodations, where we have got to go, who we have got to see and what goes on off the field. It really helped a lot and made things on the field a lot easier."
