ALBANY, GA (WALB) -  The Albany State football team entering the final week of spring practice.

Former OC Steve Smith may have left for greener pastures at Tennessee State but he left the cupboard full on the offensive side of the football.

The Rams return virtually everyone on offense including quarterback Stanley Jennings who was the SIAC player of the year.

Head coach Mike White is wanting his next offensive coordinator to be able to work with the talent he will inherit.

Head coach Mike White said. "It's very important, I think its important that you get the right guy. That they have a good fit in with what you're trying to accomplish. Because it happened to us in the middle of spring I'm not really pushed for time to make that choice. We'll see to try to get that right guy and move forward."

The Albany State spring game is 6:00 p.m. Friday at the ASU Coliseum.
