ALBANY, GA (WALB) -  Sumter County - A separate storm Saturday night demolished two boat houses on the Sumter County side of Lake Blackshear.

Debris was still floating in the lake Monday, around two docks owned by Dr. Frank Turpin, off Flintside Drive.

Neighbors say the winds picked up his pontoon boat and tossed it into the lake.

Nearby uprooted trees chopped the wooden dock into splinters. A concrete dock held up better, but its wooden railings were blown off.

Neighbors who didn't want to talk on camera say the sight forced them indoors. They say the storm knocked out power for about two hours that night.
