ALBANY, GA (WALB) – A 17-year old boy was attacked while walking near the intersection of Gail Avenue and Hoover Street around 7 o'clock Thursday night. A man stabbed him in the back, shoulder, and head then took money out of his pocket and ran.

The attack shocked neighbors. Mark Strosnider said, "It's really a pretty peaceful neighborhood and there is usually not much that goes on around here. It's pretty quiet and things like this don't happen, ya know."

Police are looking for the robber. They say he's a light-skinned black man wearing a black shirt and carrying a bookbag.
