Clinch County, GA-- More than a dozen homes are evacuated in Clinch County because of a wildfire.

Firefighters are trying to save the homes on Highway 441.

The Arabia Bay swamp fire jumped Highway 122 last night and is now out of control and has burned 4,000 acres.

A firefighter for the Ga. Forestry Commission was injured last night when embers got into his eye.

An Albany fire truck and four Albany firefighters will depart this morning to help fight the fire near Homerville.

They are part of GEMA's response to this wildfire.

People near the Arabia Bay swamp had to use garden hoses to wet their yards overnight to fight back the flames.
