ALBANY, GA (WALB) - Darton and ABAC joined together to honor the father of Lady Cavaliers pitcher Lauren Revels whose father Alix before their doubleheader Thursday.
Alix Revels died last year and the two teams held a moment of silence at the pitcher's circle and both teams wore black arm bands with the initials A.R..
Darton then used dominant pitching performances from Katy Lewis and Cara Law to sweep the Fillies.
Lewis faced just 23 hitters allowing two hits and striking out 12 in Darton's 6-1 win in game one.
Cara Law pitched a shutout in the Lady Cavs 7-0 win in game two.
Darton catcher Josie Cox hit two homeruns in game one.
Brooke Tomlin hit her third homerun in the season in game two.
Darton will host Huntingdon College at 12:00 p.m. Friday.
Darton assistant coach Sam White says ABAC has agreed to let Lauren Revels throw out the first pitch when the two teams play in Tifton on April 14th.
