ALBANY, GA (WALB) - Checking in for your flight on Delta is as close as facebook.
Delta Airline has a facebook page that now allows travelers to check their flight status, book a flight, and even check in for a flight. Southwest Georgia Regional Airport officials say it's just one more convenient way customers can check in before they arrive at the airport.
"I think it will definitely reduce stress. People that come out to the airport are already stressful enough and as much as you can do at home to avoid having to do at the airport is always the best thing you'll be able to breeze through the line that much faster," said Yvette Aehle, Southwest Georgia Regional Airport Director.
Checking in on facebook still allows you to print out a boarding pass. And if you're checking luggage, it allows you to go right to the checked baggage line when you arrive at the airport.
