Shooting, police car wreck on south side; 2 Wrecks clog bypass - WALB.com, Albany News, Weather, Sports

ALBANY, GA  -  (WALB) The shooting happened about 5:45PM on Gadsden. We believe a 13 year old girl may have been shot in the chin.

Right now, officers are looking for a suspect in the Gaines Street area. A police car responding to that shooting wrecked at Heard and Sunny Lane.

Two wrecks have traffic blocked on the bypass; A wreck on the Liberty bypass and Jefferson on the bridge in the northbound lanes has traffic backed up.

A second wreck took place at the bypass just before the Clark Avenue exit in the Southbound lane and traffic is at a standstill.
