ALBANY, GA (WALB) - Two Lake Park Elementary School students got a welcome surprise- their father who they haven't seen in seven months.
We were waiting in Drew Naylor's first grade class when it was announced there was a visitor.
It didn't take Drew long to realize that visitor was his dad who has been working as a contractor with the military in Kuwait.
It was the same case in daughter Gabrielle's kindergarten classroom just down the hallway. Their father says it's been difficult being away from his children.
"It's great I can't explain it to be honest with you. To see both of them is wonderful," said James Naylor.
The kids are getting a big treat next week. The family will spend their Spring Break at Disney World.
Naylor is on a three week leave before returning to work in Kuwait with his company Jacob's Technology.
