    Information from the Tift County Sheriff's Office- On Tuesday, May 7, 2013, the Mid-South Narcotics Task Force along with the Tift County Sheriff's Office served a search warrant on the residence of 36

Valdosta, GA - (WALB) -  An Azalea City Logging truck ran off the road and hit a utility pole at the intersection of Bemiss Road and Skipper Bridge Road about 9:00AM.

The traffic lights went out, and police  directed traffic. Crews are repairing the power lines, which drooped, but did not touch the ground.

The tractor was not pulling a trailer. 

The driver of the truck is in the hospital but he's expected to be okay.

A car was headed north on Bemiss Rd. and turned left onto Skipper Bridge Road in front of the semi, and charges are pending for driver of the car.
