ALBANY, GA (WALB) -  A man was shot, stabbed, and beaten in downtown Albany early Sunday morning.

It stemmed from a fight inside of Club Eclipse on West Broad Avenue, and police believe it may have been gang related.

Four people suspected of sending the victim to the hospital with serious injuries, are now in custody.

21-year old Cristian A. Vargas, 19-year old Jose Gonzalez, 17-year old Evelio Gomez, and 19-year old Adan Ariel were arrested a short time later.

"This is an isolated incident we've not had anything like this happen downtown in recent months, we don't want people to think it's not safe downtown," said Phyllis Banks, APD Media Manager.

The victim had surgery and is in good condition at Phoebe hospital. Another man 18-year-old Gino Julio Lopez sustained serious head injuries Sunday morning at the club.

All four suspects face aggravated assault, street gang activity, and possession of a firearm during the commission of a crime charges.
