ALBANY, GA (WALB) - Saturday was the first day of action for the Youth Indoor Football League. Hundreds of players from all over South Georgia battled it out on the turf as they will do every Saturday before Albany Panther home games.
The kids range from ages 6-12 and make up 12 teams. Parents say it's a great way to get their kids out of the house and onto the field.
Tiffany King said "Its a good thing to do, a good way for them to get rid of excess energy so its always positive to do something positive for the kids. He plays both outside and arena football so its always nice to be on the inside cool."
