Albany, GA - (WALB) - The MS Walk will be Saturday in front of Riverfront Park downtown. Registration starts at 9:00 and the walk starts at 10:00.

Representatives from the Georgia Chapter of the National MS Society will be in Albany to assist with the walk course.

Organizers welcome everyone - even if they have walking difficulties from MS - we come together and help you get around the walk route.

"Right now we have around 170 walkers registered. There are really some amazing stories in each person who has MS and attends the walks or support groups," said organizer Ann Etheridge.

Fore more information about the walk, you can visit www.walkMSgeorgia.org, and choose Southwest Georgia as the walk.

Albany is kicking off WALK MS as the first walk scheduled in the state of Georgia.
