ALBANY, GA (WALB) -  An Albany man arrested in a SWAT raid on a Northwest Albany home last night will be charged with a shooting in South Dougherty County.

Kawaski Bush will be charged with Aggravated Assault, armed robbery, and motor vehicle theft. Investigators say Bush and a second man shot Juan Antonio Pena of Jonesboro Tuesday at a home on Hardaway Road then stole the Hummer he was driving.

That car was ditched about a mile away. Wednesday night  Bush was caught in a SWAT raid on a 16th Avenue home. No weapon was found.

"This appears to be an armed robbery, and we are operating off of that theory right now. We are still investigating," said DCP Captain Jimmy Sexton.

Police continue to search for the second man involved in the shooting.  If you have any information, call CRIME STOPPERS at 229-436-TIPS.
