ALBANY, GA (WALB) - The driver of a garbage truck has been charged with DUI.
49 year old Bobby Lee Fair, of Leesburg, was driving his truck near Drexel Street and West Whitney Avenue in south Albany around 2:30 Thursday afternoon.
He was driving South on Drexel on the wrong side of the road when he struck a Chevy pickup head on.
The driver of the Chevy, Trabel Moore, and his passenger, Antwan Perry were taken to the hospital.
The two men on the back of the garbage truck, James Hudson and Calvin Thompson, were thrown from the truck and injured.
The driver of the garbage truck is charged with DUI Commercial Vehicle, reckless driving, driving on right required, and DUI less safe.
