ALBANY, GA (WALB) - A suspected drug dealer is behind bars tonight after leading officers on a short chase on a busy Albany road.

31-year-old Johnny Lee Miller refused to stop for police near Slappey Boulevard and 1st Avenue shortly before 6:30 p.m.

Albany Dougherty Drug Unit agents blocked him in at the Fred's Parking a couple of blocks away. They say they tased him when he refused to cooperate.

Agents found more than a half pound of marijuana bagged for sale in his car and nearly a thousand dollars cash.

Miller is charged with possession of marijuana with intent to distribute, aggravated assault for ramming his car into police vehicles, and driving with out a license.
