    Ravi Mikel Givens was arrested Tuesday and charged with possession of marijuana with intent to distribute. He is being held in the Dougherty County jail. Givens, who played ball at Westover and Stetson
    Agents say that police responded to the apartment because of a burglar alarm. Officers found the back door broken open and went inside. That's where they detected a strong odor of marijuana, and saw pot in plain view.

Leesburg -A Lee County woman was shot three times and killed this evening.

The shooting happened around 7 pm at a house at the corner of Old Smithville Road and River Road in Lee County.

She was found under the carport of the home and rushed by ambulance to a hospital where she was pronounced dead. 

 Crime scene tape surrounds the house, which is near Lee County Middle School.

The woman's husband is being questioned by the GBI.

WALB News 10 is told that the woman and her husband are both MCLB employees.

Their names are not being released until family members are notified.
