In high school football, Monroe tackle Bryan Chamberlain thought he'd be a hoops star by his senior year, but as fate would have it, he's now one step away from playing football for Georgia Tech University.
Bryan is apart of the WALB top ten and began playing football his 9th grade year after a coach saw him in the hallway and said son "you belong on a football field."
Chamberlain has excelled ever since but realizes come next year it's a whole new ball game.
Chamberlain said "When I go to Georgia Tech everybody is gonna be the same size. I won't even be a stand out when I go on the field. Now I'm the biggest thing out there but the guy right beside me may be even bigger so just working hard and getting stronger, getting faster you know, technique right. Everything has to be crisp from now on, I take a lot of pride in it"
