ALBANY, GA (WALB) –The Flint Riverquarium wants to spend the holidays giving back to the community.

For the month of December, Albany and Dougherty County residents can get into the downtown attraction for only $5.

That includes admission to the RiverQuarium and a movie at the Imagination Theater. Managers call the discount "A Season of Giving" in honor of the public-private partnership they have with the city of Albany and Dougherty County.

"That public/private partnership allows us to provide a number of programs and services to our community and that partnership is indeed financed by the people of Albany and Dougherty County and we wanted to express our thanks," said Flint RiverQuarium President/CEO Scott Loehr.

The promo price is for Monday through Thursday only. Visitors will have to show proof of residency with a driver's license or other form of identification.
