ALBANY, GA (WALB) –  The jury has been selected, and the trial will start Monday for two Albany men charged with robbing and kidnapping a man last year.

Prosecutors say James Hope Junior and Kirby James and two other men robbed Torey Mitchell and stuffed him in the trunk of his car October 2nd, 2008, and started to drive away.

Mitchell jumped out of the trunk, and several shots were fired at him as he ran away.

Justin Thorpe and Gregory Twymon plead guilty last week. Thorpe was sentenced to six years in prison, Twymon to five, and Twymon is expected to testify in next week's trial.
