ALBANY, GA (WALB) – Former Albany downtown manager Don Buie will be in court Wednesday to ask a judge for a change of venue in his trial.
Buie was indicted on nearly a dozen charges of theft and conspiracy, for writing ADICA checks to his wife and girlfriend.
Buie wants a change of venue in his trial because of pre-trial publicity.
Judge Denise Marshall will hear Buie's motion at nine in the morning.
Buie remains in the Dougherty County jail without bond.
