FT. GAINES,  GA (WALB) – Three men were arrested in Fort Gaines Wednesday when they tried to buy 12 pounds of marijuana from undercover agents.

The Pataula Drug Task Force and the Clay county sheriff's office set up the sting.

31-year-old Greg David Jones, 22-year-old Nicholas Alexander, and 21-year-old Domonique Ricks showed up at the East Bank Boat Landing in Ft. Gaines around 9AM.

They brought the money, the officers brought the dope. All three are charged with trafficking marijuana. Jones and Ricks are also charged with possession of a firearm during the commission of a crime.

Officers say they were major drug players in Ft. Gaines.
