LOWNDES COUNTY, GA (WALB) –A log truck crashed into a car Thursday at Walker's Crossing, the intersection where Lowndes, Lanier, and Berrien counties meet.

A buick was traveling from Hahira on Highway 122, stopped at the stop sign, but failed to yield after the stop sign.

A log truck was traveling towards Moody Air Force Base from Berrien County when it struck the car at the intersection.

The truck overturned and logs spread across Highway 125, blocking it for hours.

"People just got to use caution they got the flashing lights up there,” said Trooper Jeremy Kinsey. “People that are aware of the intersection, it's a very dangerous intersection. You got a hillcrest north of the intersection and you have to look good and when you pull out you got to go. You can't waste any time just look two or three times before you pull out.”

Luckily, both drivers had no serious injuries but they were taken to the hospital.
