LAKE PARK, GA (WALB) –Lowndes County authorities are still searching for a bank robber.
A man walked through the front door of Park Avenue Bank in Lake Park late afternoon.
He handed a teller a note demanding money. The teller agreed and the robber left with an undisclosed amount of cash.
"At this time we are unsure who the suspect is,” said Lt. Stryde Jones, Lowndes County Sheriff’s Office. “It's still undetermined. We're working the case along with some other local agencies and FBI has been notified and they're here with us as well.”
The suspect is a white man and was seen wearing jeans, a red hooded fleece, white tennis shoes, and sunglasses.
He's described as 5’7” tall, 150 pounds, and may be in his late 30s.
