ALBANY, GA (WALB) – Georgians will elect a new Governor next November.
Republicans Eric Johnson, Ray McBerry and John Oxendine were there.
Nathan Deal sent a representative.
They talked about water resources, Job creation, and transportation.
The Lowndes County republican party and Georgia Conservatives in Action hosted the forum to make sure the candidates didn't loose focus of the issues important to south Georgians.
On Saturday three candidates met with voters in Valdosta to talk about why they deserve your vote.
"The best thing we can do is to elect the strongest constitutionalist and the strongest states rights candidate for the next eight years and when people check out the ballot the only name that's going to fit is Ray McBerry," said Ray McBerry, (R) Gubernatorial Candidate.
"We've been blessed to be out in front in polls done in the state of Georgia we're running two times ahead of our closest opponent happens to be, we're ahead of fundraising." John Oxendine, (R) Gubernatorial Candidate.
"You're looking at the next governor, it's going great July is the primary and November is the election so we're all there quietly working building our network and raising the money," Eric Johnson, (R) Gubernatorial Candidate.
Republicans Jeff Chapman, Karen Handel, and Austin Scott were not at the forum.
