ALBANY, GA (WALB) - Thieves are going to great lengths these days to get what they want.

Would you believe that a man walked into Central Baptist Church, glanced at the secretary, then went upstairs and starting gathering up items to take?

She heard him making noise upstairs, walked in on him and he dropped a TV and other items he was planning to take.

We'll talk with church staff about the incident, and tell you about a burglary at another Albany Church. We also have pictures of the would-be thief from Central Baptist.

Recognize him?  Call Crimestoppers at 229-436-TIPS.
