ALBANY, GA (WALB) - A Colquitt County man led deputies on a high speed chase through two counties at speeds of more than 100 miles per hour.
Officers spotted Randy Lamb cruising a neighborhood where there've been a lot of burglaries. Watch this police dash camera video as Lamb takes off.
He led investigators through several intersections where police had to slow down for stops signs and traffic. Watch as Lamb blew through the stop sign at Old Albany Road and Highway 133. A second deputy joined the chase as a tanker truck loaded with gasoline roared by. The chase got even more dangerous as Sheriff's deputies fish tailed while chasing him on a dirt section of Old Albany Road
"It's a hazard to the traffic out there especially on the dirt roads, a car coming down the dirt roads, you run 100 miles per hour down a dirt road it gets pretty dangerous," said Captain Hal Suber, Colquitt County Sheriff's Office.
Eventually Lamb ditched the truck and a woman inside and ran into some woods near Hartsfield. Deputies searched for three hours but didn't find Lamb. Investigators say Lamb has since shaved his head and anyone who may know his whereabouts is urged to call the Colquitt County Sheriff's Office.
