Lanier Co. Manager arrested Saturday

BERRIEN COUNTY, GA (WALB) - The Lanier County manager and his wife were arrested Saturday night after a fight in Ray City.

Albert Studstill is charged with simple battery and obstructing an emergency call.

According to the incident report, Studstill pushed his wife. She then threw a book at him.

Patricia Studstill says her husband slapped her and then snatched the phone away as she called 911.

She also says he grabbed her around the throat and then she scratched his arm.

Patricia Studstill is also charged with simple battery.
