Worth County, GA (WALB) - A man was taken to the hospital Monday morning after his SUV rolled over when he swerved to miss a deer.
23-year-old Cornelius Thomas was driving north on Highway 112 in Worth County around 5:30AM when a deer walked into the road.
Troopers say he swerved, ran off the highway, over-corrected, and rolled his Ford Explorer onto its side.
Thomas' injuries are not life threatening. Worth County Sheriff's officials say they average about 15 deer related accidents a month.
