ECHOLS COUNTY, GA (WALB) - An Echols County man was killed Friday night after he lost control of his vehicle and flipped it.
Troopers say just after 9, 48-year-old Tony Maine was driving west on Georgia 94. He lost control of his dodge pickup truck as he was going around a curve at the 14-mile marker.
The truck went off the road, hit an embankment and tree before flipping over. Maine was killed instantly.
Troopers say he was not wearing a seat belt.
