MACON, Ga. (AP) - A long-running dispute over the border between Bibb and Monroe counties could go to a new judge.
The Secretary of State's Office is trying to move the dispute to a special assistant administrative law judge.
The dispute involves a fight between the two neighbors over who controls some 400 parcels and $1.3 million in annual tax revenue.
The two counties have argued over the boundary for nearly a century but the dispute escalated after a Bass Pro Shops complex was proposed to be built in the area.
