MILLER COUNTY, GA (WALB) - We begin with a tragic story from Miller County, where a little boy was killed and the rest of his family injured in a crash with a tractor Tuesday night.

R.J. Williams was driving a John Deere tractor south on Georgia Highway 310 south of Colquitt in Miller County about 5:45.

Troopers say he turned in front of a Tahoe, driven by 31-year-old Demetric Patterson, and they collided.

Patterson's 8-year-old son Deveon, who was in the back seat, was killed.  The father and 12-year-old Deshon were airlifted to Tallahassee Medical Center with serious injuries.  The mother, 31-year-old Gracie Patterson, suffered non-life threatening injuries.

The tractor driver only had some scratches.

The Specialized Collision Reconstruction Team will be at the scene Wednesday morning to reconstruct the accident.

No charges have been filed.
