
Andrew James "Bo" Aultman, 86, of Albany, died Wednesday, August 26, 2009 at his home.
His funeral service will be Saturday at 2:00PM at Kimbrell-Stern with interment to follow at Crown Hill Cemetery. The Rev. Leigh Ann Raynor will officiate. The family will receive friends today at Kimbrell-Stern from 6-8 PM.
Mr. Aultman was born in Warwick, GA and had lived in Albany since 1979. He graduated from Warwick High School and attended Mercer University where he was a member of Sigma Alpha Epsilon fraternity. Mr. Aultman graduated from the Walter F. George School of Law at Mercer University. He was a member of Porterfield Memorial United Methodist Church.
Mr. Aultman was a farmer, a Founding Director of the Bank of Worth, now the Sun Trust Bank. He had served as a Director of the Georgia Forestry Commission, had served on the Board of Directors of Doublegate Country Club, and had served on the Advisory Committee at Stonebridge Country Club.
He was preceded in death by his parents, William Alexander Aultman and Mary Ola Davis Aultman; his brother, Davis "Bully" Aultman' his sister, Neila Aultman Andrews; the mother of his children, Ina Ruth "Doof" Newell Aultman.
He is survived by his wife: Sarah Enid Aultman, Albany; 2 sons: Zackary Aultman and his wife Debi, Albany, William A. Aultman and his wife Drew, Albany; a daughter: Mitchelyn Aultman, Albany; a stepson: Marion Lanier Bridges, Jr. and his wife Diane, Watkinsville, GA, a stepdaughter: Laurel Bridges Bradshaw and her husband Gayle David, Ponte Vedra, FL; 5 grandchildren: Jaime Miles, Julianne Fricks, Leah Lundin, Markland Aultman, Andrew James Aultman, II; 7 step-grandchildren: John Bridges, Keir Bridges, Jessica Bradshaw, Kendra Staggs, Eric Moore, Hilsman Knight, Jordan Knight; his caregivers: Helen Stevens Lumpkin, Jason Kegler.
