TOOMBS COUNTY, GA (WTOC) -The search for an escaped prisoner in Toombs County is over. Actavius Langston turned himself into the Charles Durst Detention Center yesterday.

He escaped the jail last Thursday morning when the door to his cell opened on its own. He's serving 26 years for armed robbery. They're holding Langston at the detention center until the department of corrections picks him up.
