Randolph County man charged after his SUV flips

ALBANY, GA (WALB) - A Randolph County man is facing charges after flipped his SUV early Friday morning in Terrell County.

Troopers tell us 25-year-old Walter Flowers of Shellman fell asleep at the wheel of this Ford Expedition around 3:30 AM on Highway 82 west in Graves.

Flowers ran off the road, but an embankment, then a drainage pipe and overturned. Flowers was partially ejected. He was treated at Phoebe and released.

He's charged with failure to maintain lane and DUI charges are pending blood alcohol tests.
