ALBANY, GA (WALB) - This heat wave likely contributed to the weekend death of an elderly Colquitt County man.

The 87 year old man was found dead in his mobile home in Doerun Saturday.  The coroner said it would take an autopsy to prove heat played a factor in his death, but it's likely because emergency workers noted extreme heat inside his home.

The coroner reminds us all to check on our elderly neighbors when it's this hot.
