ALBANY, GA (WALB) - Dougherty County Police helped arrest a west Georgia man accused of being an internet predator.

20-year-old Richard Stinson of Waverly Hall was arrested by the Harris County Sheriff's Office June 8th.

He's charged with obscene internet contact with a child and sexual exploitation of a child.

Dougherty County Police, working with the Internet Crimes against Children operation with state and federal law enforcers,  communicated with Stinson on the Internet.

He thought he was communicating with a minor, though Stinson never came to Dougherty County.
