VALDOSTA, Ga. (AP) - A medical clinic in south Georgia has been awarded almost $94,000 in grant money to care for underserved citizens.
The money was funneled to the Health Migrant Farmworkers Clinic in Lake Park. Executive director Joe Tillman said the funding would be used to provide farm workers with medical care and other needs.
The IDS or Increased Demand for Services grant was awarded by the Georgia Department of Community Health.
