RANDOLPH, GA (WALB) - Randoph-Clay High School recently added a policy that all students have to carry a clear book bag.

Principal Dr. Kimberly Ingram says the majority of students carry back packs because the school doesn't have lockers.

Ingram says the clear book bag policy has been working well and was a necessary rule to ensure safety for all students.

“It is so important because we want everyone to be safe and we want our students to be safe and do things that will not get them in trouble. It was apart of our safety plan," says Dr. Ingram.

Dr. Ingram says that all students have followed the clear book bag policy, and those students without one will have their bag held in the office until the end of the day.
