CRISP COUNTY, GA (WALB) - A few things are now in the works after getting approved at Tuesday’s Crisp County Commission meeting.
Commissioners voted to approve a proposal from Eco-Site for a special use permit of a phone tower on Tremont Road.
County Administrator Tom Patton said they also approved a revolving loan for WorthFab LLC.
Leaders said they approved to ratify the bid award for phase one of the airport runway safety project at the Crisp County-Cordele Airport.
And they also approved a renovation bid for the Pickens Swimming Pool.
“We awarded a bid for $289,500,” said Arthur James Nance Jr. “This process has been in the works for quite some time now and we’re trying to get this pool ready for the summer, for our children.”
The county had no problems with its SPLOST fund or single audit.
County leaders were also told they did well on their major funds and water fill, they hit the bottom line this year.
