MOULTRIE, GA (WALB) - Colquitt County leaders are finding new ways to encourage economic growth and networking among its local business owners.
Tommie Beth Willis with the Moultrie-Colquitt County Chamber of Commerce said they’re kicking off their new initiative, Coffee and Commerce at the end of February.
Willis said Coffee and Commerce will mirror Business after Hours, where business owners get the chance to expand their network and grow their business.
She also said this event occurs before work in effort to attract those who can’t attend the meetings after work.
“It has an opportunity for business owners to get to know each other, and work on projects outside their regular business hours but also to better benefit our community,” said Willis.
The first meeting will be held at Beans and Strings in Downtown Moultrie on Feb. 26 from 7:30 to 8:45 a.m.
She hopes this initiative will turn into an every month event.
