Cordele police looking for person of interest in December homicide

CORDELE, GA (WALB) - The Cordele Police Department (CPD) is looking for a person of interest in a homicide that happened on Dec. 25.

The police department said investigators want to to talk to Demarcus “Chip” Bell about the investigation into the homicide of Tonay McCall, 28.

Police believe Bell is traveling in the vehicle shown below:

McCall was found dead from a gunshot wound in the parking lot of Joe’s Meat Market in the 1300 block of South Joe Wright Drive on Christmas night, according to Cordele police.

The sheriff’s office said Bell is considered armed and dangerous.
