LEE CO., GA (WALB) - The Lee County Sheriff’s Office said it has found a 15-year-old girl with autism that went missing around 6:30 p.m. Monday.
The sheriff’s office was looking for Joy Riggins.
Investigators said she went missing after she walked off into the woods east of the Walmart on Ledo Road while shopping with her grandmother.
According to Lee County Sheriff Reggie Rachals, Riggins was found unharmed near the Toyota dealership on Ledo Road.
Lee County 911 Dispatch said she is safe and is back with her parents.
