Cook hires 2-time 5-A coach of the year, Jamie Rodgers as new head coach

ADEL, GA (WALB) - The Cook Hornets will be adding a new face to their coaching staff this season, as newly named head coach Jamie Rodgers has been announced Monday.

Rodgers was the head coach at Baker County in Glen St. Mary, Florida, where he led his team to three straight playoff appearances after a three year drought, and in his second year, took the Wildcats to the state finals.

In his time at Baker County, Rodgers held a record of 29-9, and was named a 2-time 5-A coach of the year.

Hopefully Rodgers can help the Hornets find their way back to their former glory.

Last year the Hornets fell in the first round of the playoffs and finished the season at 3-8.
