Thomasville police still searching for bank robbery suspect

THOMASVILLE, GA (WALB) - Thomasville police are still trying to track down the man who robbed a Thomaville bank and got away with nearly $2,000.

Police said they are following up on all leads to try and identify this suspect, who robbed the Synovus Bank on Pinetree Boulevard Saturday morning.

Maj. Wade Glover said the suspect’s calm demeanor leads investigators to believe he has possibly committed similar crimes.

Glover said the suspect didn’t dress like a typical bank robber — one way he was able to keep attention away from him as he was leaving.

Thomasville police are searching for this man. They say he robbed the Synovus Bank on Pinetree Blvd over the weekend....

“Him wearing a blue suit that was probably part of him being able to walk across the parking lot and people not noticing anything out of the ordinary," said Glover.

Glover said the suspect drove off in this car.
